I'm Terri, your expert emmi®-Pet  trainer for North America! I’m a dog mom, a preservation dog breeder, a holistic dog groomer since 2019, a former veterinary technician of 35 years, a proud Navy mom, and a grandma! I studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of Wyoming. Animal health, approached holistically, has been a lifelong passion.

My passion for animals (dogs and horses in particular) began at a very early age. I've always said I was born with it, it’s so ingrained! I’ve always had a profound connection with my dogs; they are members of my family, my best friends, confidants, healers, and an essential part of my life. I was raised on a cattle and horse ranch, and herding breeds have always been a large part of my life.

I’ve raised horses, cattle, hogs, and dogs, was a certified equine reproduction tech, involved in dog rescue and foster for many years, worked or volunteered at low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and have been a preservation breeder of registered Miniature Australian Shepherds since 2017.
